WHY IS IT CALLED "UPSCALE RESALE"?
This isn't your regular garage/community rummage sale. Upscale resale means we want to sell only the BEST gently used children's clothing and toys out there. Common discount or large chain and generic brands don't sell well, and certainly don't bring nearly as much as top quality brands and designer labels. Keeping our sales upscale means our shoppers know they will always find great deals on great stuff.
WHERE CAN I FIND WIRE HANGERS?
Most dry cleaners will sell wire hangers for around .15 cents/hanger. If you want to buy in larger quantities and split it up among friends, WR Retail Display Group sells them - 500 hangers for $39.95 plus GST.
WHY ARE THE HANGING AND TAGGING INSTRUCTIONS SO SPECIFIC?
Hanging - our hanging instructions are specific because it allows us to organize, hang, and sort easily without having to deal with a variety of sized hangers. The sale looks cleaner and more organized, and shoppers can look through items without things falling off or on the floor.
Tagging - we use My Consignment Manager, an online consignor registration and bar coding system. The system generates bar coded tags for each item entered. In order for the scanner to read the codes properly, they must be printed clearly on 60lb or heavier card stock paper, without folds, smudges or creases.
WHY IS THERE A $10.00 REGISTRATION FEE?
The registration fee allows us to keep our overhead costs lower and offer consignors a higher percentage for their sales.
